    GETTING AROUND

    How to Find Us

    DIRECTIONS

Coming from the M6 / M56 / A55. If your sat nav asks you to leave the A55 at junction 19 please ignore it and come off at junction 18, otherwise it will take you on a slightly shorter but more difficult route and the road gets very narrow in places, with limited passing places. At junction 18 please follow the signs for Conwy (your sat nav should reroute) and at the mini roundabout adjacent to Conwy castle turn left and go under the archway in the castle walls (B5106). Carry on for 2 miles until you get to the Groes Inn and turn right. Y Gorlan is 2 miles down this road in the centre of Rowen, look for the white iron gates and stone pillars just after the Ty Gwyn pub.

Coming from Llanrwst. Take the A470 north towards Conwy / Llandudno for 6 miles. Turn left at Tal Y Cafn (over the railway line and over the bridge) until its T junction with the B5106. The road does narrow towards the junction. At the junction you can go straight over but the roads are very narrow with limited passing places. It is safer and not much longer to turn right and carry on the B5106 north until you get to the Groes Inn at the bottom of a long hill. Turn left just before the Groes Inn and Y Gorlan is 2 miles down this road in the centre of Rowen, look for the white iron gates and stone pillars just after the Ty Gwyn pub.
